Public speaking is an essential skill.

From the classroom to the boardroom, public speaking is necessary in all settings. Public speaking lessons will give students the confidence to express themselves, and ensure that they stay cool under pressure.

At EEC Debate, our public speaking classes serve to improve ability and prepare students for a rigorous debate curriculum. Our supportive learning environment is highly beginner friendly.

What does class look like?

Public speaking classes will contain three elements.

  1. Exercises and games to encourage impromptu speech

  2. Lessons to learn public speaking technique

  3. Formal speech presentations

Regular teacher feedback will ensure that students are always aware of their progress!

2024 Fall In-Person Schedule

Our public speaking class prepares younger students for future debate classes. Level 1 is perfect for those looking to practice speaking and gain confidence in the classroom. Level 2 is for older students, refining their speaking abilities. Level 3 is for students who are ready to attend competitions and speak in front of crowds.
